HBCU Day Tour Applications Available

The Prince George’s County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated in association with the Prince George’s County Delta Alumnae Foundation is sponsoring a Historically Black Colleges and Universities Day Tour for 7th, 8th & 9th graders on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.

Students will observe campus life first hand at the prestigious Delaware State University and University of Maryland Eastern Shore The cost of this tour is $35.

2017 HBCU College Bus Tour

The Ebenezer AME Church 2017 HBCU College Bus Tour is scheduled for April 16-20 2017, and is open to all currently-enrolled high school students (no guests).

Tour Stops: Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia

Cost: $500 per student ($475.00 if paid in full by March 3), includes roundtrip luxury Motorcoach transportation, 4 nights of hotel accomodations, and all breakfasts and lunches.

There will be a briefing sessions for all registrants on Thursday April 6 @ 7pm

The Academic Empowerment Foundation (AEF), Inc., under the leadership of Andrew Edwards, will provide funding for 25 qualified students in the amount of $100 each to go towards the cost of the 2017 Spring College Tour.

Following are the minimum requirements for students requesting financial support for funds donated by the AEF:

For Washington DC Metro Area High School Seniors ONLY: To qualify, an applicant must have a combined SAT Score of 1050 (Math/Verbal score) or an ACT Score Equivalent.

For Washington DC Metro Area High School Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen: To qualify, an applicant must have a Core GPA of 2.95 or higher or a combined SAT score of 1050 (math and verbal) or ACT Score Equivalent.

2016 HBCU College Bus Tour

Cost: $460.00, includes roundtrip luxury Motorcoach transportation, 4 nights of hotel accomodations, and all breakfasts and lunches.

The Prince George County Delta Alumni Chapter College Tour will be visiting the following institutions:

GEORGIA: Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Savannah State University, Spelman College
NORTH CAROLINA: Johnson C. Smith University, North Carolina A&T University, North Carolina Central University, Winston Salem State University
SOUTH CAROLINA: Claflin University
VIRGINIA: Hampton University, Norfolk State University

The Tour will be from November 1 through November 6 2015, and is open to all 10th, 11th and 12th Graders with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
